Terms of purchase

Terms for buying the book

Last updated: 2026-08-05

Here you buy the book directly from the publisher. Publit Sweden AB, company registration number 556758-3595, runs the shop and handles payment and delivery, while VER&IT AB is responsible for the book. By placing an order you accept these terms.

Prices

The shipping fee is calculated from the weight of the parcel and the delivery address, and is shown at checkout. Any import and customs duties on orders abroad are paid by the customer.

Swedish VAT is applied to printed books sold to consumers within the EU. The VAT rate for ebooks can vary within the EU depending on where the consumer lives. Sales to corporate customers with a valid VAT registration number within the EU but outside Sweden are made without VAT, as are all sales to private and corporate customers outside the EU. Publit reserves the right to invoice VAT retroactively if a corporate customer has given an incorrect VAT registration number.

Payment

Purchases can be made by card, Swish or invoice. Transactions are handled by Nets. Neither VER&IT AB nor this website receives or stores any payment details.

Orders

A binding purchase agreement applies once an order has been placed. You are responsible for monitoring your email for the order confirmation.

All books are printed on demand by order of the customer, in the format and quantity chosen at the time of purchase. Under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59), an order can therefore neither be cancelled nor modified once it has been placed.

Delivery

Printed books are produced within five working days and are then sent by post, which takes two days to Swedish addresses and up to ten days for international orders.

If a parcel is not collected from the local pick-up point, or if the delivery address is incorrect or unknown and the parcel is returned to Publit, the customer is responsible for both the original shipping cost and the return shipping. Publit notifies the customer by email. If the customer wants the parcel sent again, an additional shipping cost applies. If the parcel is returned from abroad, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs as well as any customs and administration fees.

Complaints

Should you receive a different product from the one ordered, or should the product be faulty, contact Publit immediately. Defective products are returned free of charge provided that Publit customer service instructions are followed. If a dispute arises as to whether the item is defective or damaged, it can be referred to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).

Personal data

Upon completed purchase, Publit saves your personal data and is the data controller for it. VER&IT AB never receives your customer or payment details, only an aggregated statement of the number of copies sold.

Cookies

The shop is shown in a frame from webshop.publit.com and sets the cookies the basket needs in order to work. The rest of this website is cookie-free and carries neither marketing nor tracking cookies.

Disputes

Swedish law applies to this agreement and these terms. Disputes arising from the agreement shall be settled by a general court with Stockholm District Court as the first instance.
